Norman St.Amour studied business administration at Royal Military College and Laurentian University. He obtained the FCI designation from The Canadian Credit Institute and the AICB designation from the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
Norman was employed in the financial services industry with Household Finance, The Continental Bank of Canada and General Motors Acceptance prior to joining the team at Caisse populaire North Bay in 1982 as a loans officer.
He held the position of assistant manager and branch manager before assuming the position of general manager in 1986.
Norman is active in his community as a board member of YES Employment Services, Home Ownership Affordability Partnership, RDÉE Canada -the National Francophone Economic Development Network as well as a member of various committees.
Priscille Clarke, Director of Member Services
Priscille Clarke is Director Member Services at Caisse populaire North Bay since 2009. She started her career at the Caisse in 1980 as a teller, secretary for L’Alliance des caisses populaires for one year and then as Head Teller at the Caisse until 1988. She then left the Caisse to work at Garderie Soleil for 8 years as Administrative Assistant. In 1996, she returned to the Caisse as Accounting Clerk until 2009 when she accepted the position of Director Member Services.
Mathieu Shank, Director of Wealth Management
Mathieu Shank graduated from Laurentian University with an Honors Bachelor in Business Administration, with a specialization in Sports Administration. After completing his studies, he completed contracts with both the Montreal Expos, and Hockey Canada. He then joined the Ontario public service in 2005, and for nearly 10 years worked as a Consultant in contract management, as well as fulfilled duties as a Manager. Mathieu joined the team at the Caisse populaire North Bay on June 1st, 2015 as Director of Wealth Management. Matt is also involved in the community entering his 4th season as an Assistant Coach with the Midget AAA Trappers.
René De Bernardi, Director Commercial Credit
A graduate in Business Administration with a major in accounting, René De Bernardi has worked in the financial services field as Director of Commercial Accounts in the North Bay region for most of his career. His most recent position was with the Bank of Montreal from 2012 to 2013, preceded by fourteen years with the Business Development Bank of Canada and ten years as financial controller in a wholesale bakery, City Bakery (Northern) Limited owned by Multi-Marques Inc. He began his career with Caisses populaires Desjardins and l’Alliance des Caisses populaires de l’Ontario limitée.
In addition to being co-owner of a local business, he is presently active in his community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Club Richelieu de North Bay, Nipissing University and the North Bay Regional Hospice project.
